Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Lead Lag Publishing, LLC, DBA Lead-Lag Media® ("Company," "we," or "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with PodRadar, including the website at podradar.leadlagmedia.com, the application, dashboards, APIs, AI-generated pitches, intelligence outputs, and any related services (collectively, the "Services").

This Policy supplements, and is incorporated into, the Lead-Lag Media® general Privacy Policy; in the event of a conflict on a PodRadar-specific matter, this Policy controls. By accessing or using the Services, you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account and Contact Information

When you or your firm establishes a PodRadar account, we collect your name, email address, role/title, the client organization you are associated with, account credentials (stored as a salted bcrypt hash, never in clear text), and authentication tokens. For users invited by a client administrator, we may receive this information from your firm rather than directly from you.

1.2 Intake and Campaign Information

To operate the Services, we collect information you submit through intake forms, dashboard settings, and ongoing communications, including: your firm's ticker symbols and product lineup; target audience descriptions; positioning angles; preferred and excluded podcasts, journalists, and outlets; pitch tone preferences; compliance constraints; previously placed media; and any biographical, performance, or thesis material you upload.

1.3 Outreach Activity

We record information about pitches and outreach generated or transmitted through the Services, including draft and sent message contents, recipients, send timestamps, status (queued, sent, bounced, replied), engagement signals where available, and approval/suppression decisions made by you or by our team. Where outreach is routed through your own email infrastructure or a third-party provider, additional metadata may be exchanged with those systems.

1.4 Third-Party Data About Media Contacts

PodRadar ingests information about podcasts, journalists, hosts, outlets, and other media contacts from public sources (RSS feeds, podcast directories, websites, public social profiles, public databases) and licensed third-party data providers (including contact enrichment services such as Hunter.io and Apollo.io). This may include names, professional email addresses, show titles, episode metadata, topic affinities, social handles, and publicly available bios. We use this information to surface relevant outreach targets and to draft and route pitches.

1.5 Usage and Device Information

We automatically collect log and usage information when you interact with the Services, including IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages and dashboards viewed, actions taken (such as pitch generations, approvals, and clicks), referring URLs, and timestamps. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the platform, and measure performance.

1.6 Communications With Us

When you contact us (by email, chat, video call, or otherwise), we retain those communications and any information you share, including support requests, feedback, and recordings or transcripts where applicable.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as described below.

3.1 Service Providers and Sub-processors

We share information with vendors that operate critical infrastructure under contract, subject to confidentiality and data protection terms. These include:

3.2 Within Your Client Organization

Information generated under a client account (intake answers, pitches, send activity, intelligence outputs) is visible to authorized users on that client's PodRadar account and to Lead-Lag Media operators that support the engagement.

3.3 Recipients of Outreach

When you (or our team operating on your behalf) approve outreach to a media contact, that contact will receive the message and learn the sender, the sponsoring firm, and the content of the pitch.

3.4 Legal, Safety, and Compliance

We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that doing so is necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to enforce our Terms; to detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lead-Lag Media, our users, or others.

3.5 Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

4. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that information you upload, generate, or transmit through the Services complies with applicable law and any obligations you owe to third parties. In particular, you must have a lawful basis for processing personal information about media contacts and outreach recipients, and you must honor opt-out, unsubscribe, suppression, and deletion requests where required.

You must not upload sensitive categories of personal data (such as government IDs, health, financial account, biometric, or children's data) to the Services unless we have separately agreed in writing.

5. Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including encrypted transport (TLS), credential hashing (bcrypt), least-privilege access, scoped client data isolation, audit logging, and operational monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the security of any information you provide. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and notifying us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access at michaelgayed@leadlagmedia.com.

6. Data Retention

We retain account, intake, outreach, and usage information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide the Services, and as needed to meet our legal, accounting, and contractual obligations. When data is no longer needed, we delete, anonymize, or aggregate it. Backups and audit logs may persist for a limited additional period as part of standard operational practice. Specific retention periods vary by data category and underlying engagement; we will provide additional detail on request.

7. International Transfers

10. State Privacy Rights (US)

Residents of certain US states (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Virginia) may have additional rights, including the right to access, correct, delete, port, or opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise applicable rights, contact michaelgayed@leadlagmedia.com. We will verify your request consistent with applicable law and respond within the required time. You have the right to appeal a denial; appeals can be sent to the same address with the word "Appeal" in the subject line.
